About Us

AQ Bloodstock Services LLC was founded by Jose Angel Cortes Concepcion in 2010.  Jose has been studying racehorse pedigrees and conformation for about 15 years.  He has also been linked to the horse racing business in many ways including horse ownership, pinhooking and breeding.  Jose loves to work with horses, specially in horse selection at auctions, and breeding.  This passion he has for racehorses, made him start AQ Bloodstock Services LLC, with the intention to provide agent and consulting services worldwide.

Jose has a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Puerto Rico and a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of South Carolina.  He currently lives in Aiken, South Carolina.
